STARBUCKS EMEA | DRIVE THRU PROGRAM
Redefining the Starbucks Drive Thru Experience
The Starbucks experience is all about creating "Moments of Connection"
To redefine and redesign the Drive Thru experience for the EMEA region we used the above mentioned brand differentiator as the starting point for the concept development, placing the bar - the centerstage for barista & consumer interaction - at the heart of the spatial and of the brand experience.
The design is inspired by the light and transparent Mid-century Modern American architecture. It showcases both the welcoming 3rd place interior as the bar that physically connects the interior with the exterior. The Drive Thru is placed on a generously landscaped plot, creating a warm welcome for café customers and an elevated drive thru experience for on the go customers.

2015 - 2019 Drive concept development
From the design of the original concept, through to building the first trial stores and the process of enhancing the design and making it suitable for all regions we stayed true to the original foundations of the design.
The design is based on 4 pillars: 1) Create a clearly recognisable Starbucks Drive Thru. 2) Elevate customer and partner experience. 3) Offer flexibility trough a scalable and modular program. 4) Support our sustainability standards and environmental goal
